A few weeks ago I posted a photo of myself on Instagram doing Fallen Angel Pose and I received a lot of questions about it!
To be honest, I've always felt that fallen angel was a pose that looked really fancy and complicated but in fact, I find it easier than a lot of other arm balances and inversions! I'll show you my two favorite ways of doing Fallen Angel, the first way is to enter it from Side Crow and the other way is from Eka Pada Koundinyasana 2.
Before attempting this pose, you should be able to do crow pose, side crow and eka pada 1 and 2. If those poses aren't yet in your repertoire, hold off before attempting this one otherwise you will hurt yourself.
Good conditioning to build up strength includes chaturanga pushups, core work and playing around with crow pose.
Sorry I got so out of breath in this tutorial! It turns out talking while demonstrating a pose is a lot harder than just doing the pose ;)

People often find themselves standing still due to a lack of inspiration. Often times, it is hard to find the urge, or you may be unsure about how to begin. These tips will help you create a workout that works for you, and is fun too.
Crank up the tunes while working out. The rhythm of the music gets your body moving naturally. Many people find that this response comes naturally. You will feel like you are in a club dancing when listening to music you love, which will make your routine a lot more fun. Doing this dance will be so much fun that you will completely forget about feeling tired. Adding music to your routine will allow you to keep moving for longer.
Exercising with a buddy is so much more enjoyable. Having someone to chat with while you are exercising makes your workout go by faster. You and your friend will be amazed at how quickly you can lose weight when you work out together.

Exercise gear comes in a wide array of colors and styles. Your outfit can put you in a good state of mind.
Avoid repetition in your workouts. You will want to change it often and add new and exciting things to it as you go along. If you get bored, you will exercise less. If you aren't motivated, then you might stop working out. Consider changing your workout regularly. This will ensure that you can remain engaged when you plan on working out over an extended period of time. When you stop an exercise routine, you run the risk of undoing all of the positive changes you have made up to that point.
When you achieve a fitness goal, be sure to give yourself a reward. The promise of a reward can keep you motivated by giving you something fun to anticipate and work towards. Your reward can be simple. You do not have to get outrageous with your ideas or blow your budget. A reward should motivate you and keep you focused on your goals. Perhaps you've been dying to see that latest movie or coveting a pair of jeans at your favorite store.
When you choose to work out it should not feel as if you're being punished for something. If you make it fun, you will look forward to working out. The tips provided below will help you make your workouts more enjoyable.
